Well worth it for me...
I really like this app. I find the quality of the libravox readings superior to that of commercial audiobooks now available such as from Audioables. Audioables books are "performed" with manic over-emotive narration and ridiculous dialog voicing while these libravox recordings are read in the calm traditional narrators style familiar from Books-on-Tape and Recordings-for-the-Blind. The interface is great and the selection of books is excellent.
I have upgraded to "Plus" for the wider selection of books and the option to download the audio files but I still like that I can stream over wifi when I want to so as not to tie up memory on my old G2 iPod.
My only criticism is that I wish I could choose from "options" to excluded and block "Pro" pay-per-book items from the "All" listing of books. I feel uncomfortable having the high-priced "Pro" in-app purchases so readily available on my mobile device.
I also think it would be neat if a listing that included public domain and creative commons audio-dramas and audio-described-video movies from the Internet Archives or some such was added to the app.
